Start by mounting the adapter to the frontrack using the top hole. Make sure the holes are aligned, then insert the bolt and lightly tighten it with the socket wrench. Don’t fully tighten it yet, keeping a little play will make it easier to place the frontrack into the trailer.
High frontrack
Do you want to transport longer materials with your SARIS McAlu Comfort trailer? Then a high frontrack is the ideal solution. A high frontrack not only increases the functionality of your trailer, but also makes it easier to transport planks, pipes or other long materials safely.
What do you need to install a high frontrack?
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- The SARIS high frontrack (including adapter and bolts)
- A flathead screwdriver
- A socket wrench
Step 1: Attach the adapter to the high frontrack
Step 2: Remove the front corner caps
Carefully remove the plastic caps from the front corner posts of your trailer. Use a flathead screwdriver and take your time to avoid damaging the surface.
Step 3: Place and secure the high frontrack
Now slide the high frontrack with the attached adapter into the corner posts. Once positioned correctly, fasten it securely with the remaining bolts. After all bolts are in place, tighten them completely. Your high frontrack is now ready for use.
Not just for McAlu Comfort
The SARIS McAlu Comfort is one of our most versatile trailers and perfect for this type of upgrade. But did you know that most SARIS trailers can be fitted with a high frontrack? The exact process may vary slightly, especially when no adapter is required, but the principle remains the same.
