An unexpected turn: From administration to assembly
“I still remember well how I started at SARIS Trailers B.V. in 1993. At that time, I had just completed an administrative training and was out of a job. The temp agency had a temporary job for me in production at SARIS. I never thought this temporary gig for a few months would turn into a 31-year career! With my administrative background, my place in production initially didn’t seem very logical, but I quickly discovered that this work suited me much better.”
Mark smiles: “My journey at SARIS had different phases. From production worker to team leader, I have always taken my responsibilities seriously. Even now, after all these years and back on the production line, I remain enthusiastic and ensure, together with my colleagues, that the materials are ordered, that new employees are trained, and that everything is ready on time. Each employee is an important link in the production process.”
