SARIS 65 years

Mike Majewski

SARIS Aanhangers celebrates its 65th anniversary this year. We look back on a rich history of growth and beautiful products. But what truly makes our company special? It’s our loyal employees who work at SARIS every day with dedication and commitment.

Loyal employees

who are much appreciated!

In the coming months, one of our valued team members will be featured each month in a series of inspiring stories. Discover the people behind SARIS and learn more about their unique individual contributions to our success story!

From Poland to Tilburg

“Six years ago, I started on the production line at SARIS Aanhangers. Although my first day didn’t go as planned due to car trouble, the company quickly felt like where I belonged. With my roots in Poland, I had already worked in eleven different roles within my first four years in the Netherlands, all through temp agencies. I have to say that I can easily adapt and adjust to new environments, which makes it easy for me to fit in quickly. SARIS became my eleventh job and finally the place where I truly felt at home. The company is medium-sized, and that suits me well. The atmosphere is easygoing, and the people are fantastic. Here, you work with people who genuinely care for each other and work together like family.”

"I believe everyone has something they’re good at, and I always try to think positively!"

The language of SARIS

“In my first week at SARIS, they immediately gave me the chance to learn Dutch—a huge advantage since, in the previous four years in the Netherlands, I had barely learned any Dutch. I have to admit, I could still improve a lot! The support I received to develop myself gave me a strong sense of confidence. SARIS doesn’t give up on you, even if you make a mistake. Everyone here has the opportunity to learn and grow, which makes for a great working environment.”

My journey and experiences

“Before coming to the Netherlands, I completed a university degree in Marketing and Management. I worked in Poland at several companies, including Coca-Cola. It was a period of transition in Poland, making it challenging to build a stable career. In the Netherlands, I found the opportunities I was looking for. I started as a repair technician for Apple and later found my place in production and logistics at SARIS, where I’m now responsible for gathering materials for customer orders.”

Always learning and improving

“My motto? ‘Why settle for average when you can be an expert?’ I find fulfillment in my work by continuously improving and learning new skills. I believe everyone has something they’re good at, and I always try to think positively. My ambition is to someday manage a small team and share my knowledge. For me, learning new things isn’t a source of stress; it’s a challenge that energizes me.”

At Home in the Netherlands, with SARIS as family

“After a long workday, I always come home feeling good. My wife and I speak a mix of Dutch, English, and Polish at home, which works well for us. The Netherlands has offered us many opportunities, and SARIS feels like the place I truly want to stay. The atmosphere, the colleagues, and the work—it all fits perfectly. SARIS is more than just a job; it’s a place I enjoy going to every day, and I always leave with a smile!”
