When using a non-braked trailer, specific rules apply:
- – With a category B driving license, you may tow a trailer with a maximum permissible mass (empty weight + payload) of 750 kg.
- – The total weight of the car and trailer combined must not exceed 3,500 kg.
- – A non-braked trailer does not require its own license plate as long as it remains under 750 kg and has a white plate displaying the same registration number as the towing vehicle.
